Dr Julia has delivered patient care for over twenty-five years as a physician and physiotherapist. She has treated both professional and amateur athletes. She is educated as both a physician and physiotherapist and has over 32 years of combined clinical experience. Her main office is at University Health Network, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute – University Centre. She also maintains hospital privileges with Trillium Health Partners (Mississauga).
She is also a staff physician at the Sport Clinic, University of Toronto Mississauga and is (currently on leave) at the University of Toronto, David MacIntosh Sport Clinic. As an Independent Medical Assessor, she is a Medical and Disability Evaluator with Centric Health, Seiden Health, and North York Rehabilitation Center.

Dr. Julia Alleyne is a sport medicine physician and physiotherapist and is currently the MSK Lead for Outpatients at Toronto Rehab and is the Chief Medical Officer for the Invictus Games in 2017 in Toronto. She holds academic appointments with the University of Toronto, Department of Family and Community Medicine. She was Chief Medical Officer for the Canadian Olympic team in London 2012, and the 2015 PanAm Games in Toronto.
